How to work with received e-mails in 7.5 SP1

I need a solution

It seems that with SP1 any new e-mail which is received creates an EM and IM ticket type which are linked to each other.

When classifying the EM ticket type and selecting to create an Incident, the EM ticket type is closed and the linked IM ticket type becomes "active" by having tasks assigned.

Anyway when classifying the EM ticket type as "Junk", nothing happens to the IM ticket... it just keeps on "hanging around".

Am I missing something in here or how are agents supposed to get rid of received e-mails for which no Incidents shall be created?
